One of the most famous waterfalls in the state of New York is Niagara Falls. It is one of the best places to visit in Western New York. And, there are many ways to experience Niagara Falls! So in this video, I will be showing some easy viewpoints that you can go to see, and hear the power of the Niagara Falls.

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is a city on the Niagara River, in New York State. It’s known for the vast Niagara Falls, which straddle the Canadian border. Niagara Falls is located in both the United States and Canada. And Niagara Falls New York  is a set of three water falls; American Falls, Horseshoe Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls.

Observation Tower

In Niagara Falls State Park, the Observation Tower, at Prospect Point, juts out over Niagara Gorge for a view of all 3 waterfalls. Trails from the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center lead to other viewpoints.

White Water Walk

White Water Walk offers a first-hand lesson in the raw power and peril of the Niagara River’s Class 6 whitewater rapids, some of the wildest in North America. The roar of the river provides a deceptive calmness, the perfect ambiance for your walk among the many platforms that offer incredible views. The sight on this quarter-mile boardwalk will take your breath away!

Top of Niagara Falls from Luna Island

Luna Island is one of popular viewpoints in Niagara Falls State Park.  This is where you go on the American side when you want to see 2 of the waterfalls of Niagara Falls  close from the top of the waterfalls!

Terrapin Point

Terrapin Point is where you can  get next to the thundering Horseshoe Falls, another one of popular viewpoints in Niagara Falls State Park, this where you will see Horseshoe Falls up close.

Goat Island

Goat Island offers stunning, up-close views of Niagara Falls

The Cave of the Winds

Behind Bridal Veil Falls is a natural cave, the Cave of the Winds. This Gorge Trip is a tour that allows you to view the Falls from observation platforms, and the views are stunning.

The Maid of the Mist

Looking for a fun way to “explore the roar?” The Maid of the Mist boat tour in Niagara Falls, NY has been described by generations of visitors as one of the highlights of their trip. A favorite Niagara Falls State Park attraction for more than 150 years, the Maid of the Mist journey begins at the Observation Tower, where guests are given a souvenir rain poncho to wear and board the double-deck Maid of the Mist tour boat. From there, the boat ferries past the base of the American Falls, and onto the basin of Horseshoe Falls–the dramatic passage leading you through the roiling waterfall whitewater and massive rock formations. The Maid of the Mist returns guests to shore with newfound appreciation of the power and grandeur of Niagara Falls.

If you can endure the frigid temperatures, winter is also a best time to visit. The falls are especially stunning in the snow as the sunlight reflects off the long ice sheets that stretch across the width of falls and chunks of ice can sometimes be seen falling over the top if it gets really cold.

Niagara Falls Illumination

If you are in Niagara Falls, you have to experience the sunsets. As evening arrives, head to a good vantage point and watch the sun spread its lovely hues all over the city. Every evening beginning at dusk, Niagara Falls is transformed into an incredible, multicolored water and light masterpiece. Hundreds of LED lights are housed in three locations across the Niagara Gorge in Niagara Falls, Together, these lights work to create a breathtaking view not to be missed.
